Professional Clay Bar & 6-Month Sealant Protection

Is your car covered in road film? Does the paint feel rough or dull?

Our Clay and Seal service restores smooth paint, removes embedded contaminants, and protects your vehicle with a premium 12-month sealant — all done by hand, using professional detailing techniques.

Why Choose Us Instead of an Automatic Car Wash?

Automatic car washes can scratch your paint, grind dirt into your clear coat, and leave swirl marks behind.
We hand-wash every vehicle with:

  • Clean microfiber mitts

  • The 2-bucket method

  • Soft detailing brushes

  • Zero harsh bristles or abrasive pads

This means a safer, cleaner wash — and better long-term paint health.

Our Process

1. Pre-Rinse

We gently pressure-rinse the vehicle to remove loose dirt and debris.

2. Wheels

Deep clean of wheels, tires, and fender liners using dedicated brushes and wheel-safe chemicals.

3. Foam Pre-Soak

Thick foam loosens dirt and lifts grime from the paint.

4. Mid-Rinse

Removing the loosened dirt to reduce the risk of scratching.

5. Hand Wash

We hand wash using microfiber mitts and soft detail brushes for badges and tight areas.

6. Final Rinse

Reveals clean paint ready for the next steps.

7. Drying

Air blowers + a giant microfiber drying towel (no pressure — scratch-free).

8. Iron Remover & Clay Bar

We use an iron remover to eliminate embedded metal particles, then follow with a lubricated clay bar to remove remaining surface contaminants. This leaves your paint glass-smooth and prepped for long-lasting protection.

9. Sealant Protection

We apply a premium sealant that bonds to the paint and provides up to 12 months of protection with proper maintenance.
This enhances shine, adds hydrophobic protection, and keeps your vehicle cleaner between washes.

10. Tire Dressing

Dry-to-the-touch, zero-sling formula.

11. Final Checklist

We do a complete walk-around to ensure perfection before delivery.

FAQ

  • A clay bar removes bonded contaminants like road film, brake dust, overspray, and industrial fallout. Even brand-new cars can feel rough — clay makes the surface smooth like glass.

  • Yes — when used properly with plenty of lubrication, a clay bar is safe for all modern automotive clear coats. It removes contaminants without scratching the surface.

  • If your paint feels rough when you run your hand over it, or if it looks dull even after washing, you likely have bonded contaminants that clay and iron remover can take care of.

  • No — clay bar only removes contaminants. Scratches and swirls require polishing or paint correction, which we can also provide.

  • Iron remover dissolves embedded metal particles that clay alone can’t remove. It’s especially important for daily drivers, white vehicles, and cars with brake dust buildup.

  • Our hand-applied spray sealant lasts up to 12 months with proper washing and maintenance. Many customers notice improved shine and water-beading well past 6–9 months.

  • Yes — removing embedded contaminants + adding a protective sealant dramatically increases gloss and smoothness, often making the paint look noticeably newer.

  • We avoid clay barring ceramic-coated vehicles unless absolutely necessary. Instead, we use iron remover + special decon products that won’t strip the coating.

  • Typically between 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on vehicle size and condition.

  • No — this service focuses on exterior decontamination and protection. Interior detailing can be added upon request.

  • Absolutely. Clay + iron removal is a required prep step for proper polishing or applying coatings. This is already included in the prices of our coatings and paint corrections.
